Hotel La Madonnina

"Cons: This is a tired boutique-ish hotel. The suite with hot tub was small (by American suite standards), the suite was dated, the caulking in the bathroom needed redone, the toilet ran, the balcony french doors were in disrepair. Pros: The staff was excellent throughout; pool, spa, sunbathing area, front desk, housekeeping, restuarant, etc. Top notch and is what made the stay enjoyable. The hot tub had good jets, but would timeout within 15 minutes. The balcony offered excellent privacy. The restuarant food was very good. I expected a bigger and newer room for the price, Overall, it was a good experience, just not an excellent one."

"We loved this hotel. The room was perfect, the balcony/patio area was livley and we enjoyed the live music. The pool was a refreshing temperature even during our visit while it was over 30c each day. The rooftop bar is fun and the drink prices are reasonable. The breakfast was enough to get a start on your day. The hotel was so clean and the in room AC was perfect. This hotel is up a steep hill but the stops near by if you want to do a transfer from the main area. The staff were very helpful with discussing bus routes and places to go around the Island. We loved the Cactus Garden! Just down the hill is Lo Sfizio for pizza and it was so good we literally ate there every day. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would come back again!"

"A wonderful hotel! Front desk staff and bar staff were extra friendly. Bar service was excellent and massage was great. Breakfast was pretty good and included various coffee, meat, cheese, bread, hot options and dessert options. Location is up the hill with fantastic sea views, less than a half a mile walk to the beach, shops, and a busy bus stop (2.10e) that can take you to the main port, the castle and popular restaurants. The outdoor pool heated by thermal waters was about 25 degrees C in early October. Our room included a private thermostat and outdoor electronic light-blocking shutters controllable by switch."

"I tried to give 5 stars for everything but it does not show on my phone. The hotel is really nice, staff is extremely helpful and we loved the pools and spa! Our trip to Ischia was better because of the service we had at the hotel. Special call out to Antonio and Angelo! We enjoyed getting to know them. The food at the restaurant was very good and nice that breakfast was included. They have a shuttle service which is helpful to get to the buses. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"Likes: . I really liked this hotel. Beautiful and unique how it looked. . The staff were great. I was greeted in person and walked to my room. Dislikes: . Breakfast was not that good. No freshly made eggs or anything like that. A lot of sweets and packaged goods. It could have been so much better."
Hotel San Giorgio Terme

"This is a lovely hotel. Rooms very clean. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Claudia and Giovanni at reception were excellent and helped me with a room change and changing my ferry tickets. The restaurant staff were also brilliant. So welcoming and provided excellent service including accommodating specific food requests at breakfast. The beach is nearby with chairs and an umbrella included in stay, bus stop right outside. There is a thermal spa with thermal pools and a steam room. The only thing I would say is the thermal pool gutters could do with abit of a clean. I would recommend this place and would stay again! Thank you!"

"Everyone at La Casa sul faro is super nice and super helpful. The way they operate made us feel welcomed and almost at home. Some of the details of the service (like water in the fridge available any time) make the stay extra nice. It is a lovely place, located in a lovely part of the island."
