"It was a decent place to lay your head at especially for the price.The rooms were hot and stuffy, only one fan per room and certain people would hog it up for themselves. The staff was nice when I checked in but after that, there was no communication really. That didn’t bother me bc I keep to myself but I did notice the difference. I stayed in a room with a balcony and got scared at one point bc I heard someone climbing the balcony and getting in my room, I believe it was one of the owners lol...

When I first arrived, I worried that it was in a bit of a sketchy area, but I never felt unsafe while staying at the Hostel. The manager and staff are exceptionally welcoming and kind. "Ok for a hostel. The bed was creaky. Last minute changes due to water blockade etc. Check in was confusing as they didn't check which booking was cancelled. They were overbooked. It all got sorted out, thanks to hostess Sara who was more empathetic than the guy who just said I can't help at 8:30 pm to a woman in a new city. Sara was a great hostess "

"Lovely stay in a brilliant hotel. Staff on arrival were friendly and welcoming, they even upgraded our room for our anniversary which was a nice touch. The location is perfect, right by the marina and a 5 minute walk from the main strip and the main bus stops to explore the island, a lot of excursions near and the ferry port is a 3 minute walk which is very handy. The hotel was a little old fashioned but I quite liked this style, old skool decor but clean and no issues with the room other than the air con being broken which wasn't ideal. Didn't get to use the pool or spa but I hear they were good. Breakfast was good and I honestly can't compliment the staff more, very helpful and friendly. Thanks for a lovely stay and we'll be back again"
