Top Ka'u Hotel Reviews

Hand Crafted Luxury Home with 2 Bedrooms, Jacuzzi & Fireplace

10/10 Excellent

"A great oasis 5 minutes from the Volcano park entrance which we took advantage of for pre-dawn volcano viewings. The house was well-equipped with a beautiful view into the tranquil back garden from the house and lanai. We loved our week-long stay! Mahalo"

Aloha Junction Guest House

8/10 Good

"This is an OK place if you're not looking for everything up to date and sleek. They provided breakfast fixing but we brought our own and left most of theirs untouched. The property is secluded and quiet as long as fellow travelers are quiet. nicely decorated and close to the National Park. a big plus"

Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant

10/10 Excellent

"Beautifully maintained property. Large rooms and perfectly prepared. Don't miss the hot tub. A nice soak out in nature with all the soothing sounds. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful! Going beyond the necessary. I stayed through a passing hurricane and they made certain i was well prepared for any potential problems and even prepared a meal in advance just in case, no charge. I highly recommend the lodge and thankfull to all the folks there!"

Chalet Kilauea

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel is more like a rental house than typical hotel. There are only eight or so rooms and each one has nice views with privacy. There is no staff on site but you can contact them is needed. I would stay here again. One thing to consider, you are 30 minutes from most services. If you don’t mind that and want something quiet this is a great option."
