"Helen is an excellent host and has provided, the lucky few who find her property, with all the comforts they will need to enjoy their stay. First impressions as we drove up were high as the neighborhood was well maintained, quiet, and very easy to navigate in and around. We clicked our way through the electronic lock (a big plus as I usually misplace house keys) and we were greeted with a beautifully maintained, extremely clean, and visually appealing home Helen has created. The basement provides a working area for the working traveler, a treadmill for walking on the rainy, cold, hot, whatever days when you don’t want to venture out, and a full sized laundry for guest that have an extended stay. Well lit, maintained, and inviting all around. The main floor provided an open floor plan of living area (with a Roku enabled large screen TV), dining area (with seating for 6 with rom to spare), and large kitchen with all the appliances and tools needed to make a simple breakfast down to a gourmet meal. A well-placed half bath is available on the main floor which was spotless on our arrival. There was a sunny deck off the kitchen where morning coffee or an evening drink can be savored without feeling spied on by the neighbors. The upper level gives three luxurious bedrooms (1 king, 2 queens) with windows treatments that allowed for privacy but did not limit the sunlight from pouring in. "I booked this property for my friends & I for my sisters birthday! The renovations & modernness of the house was absolutely stunning. The marble wall with the fireplace was to die for. They also have those fancy toilets in all the washrooms as well (the high end ones with heated toilet seating & all the functions) which was also awesome! Location was convenient, not too far from shops etc. Nice neighbourhood, and very comfy beds. All in all we absolutely adored our stay & had a wonderful time. The only thing I will note was that it could have been a bit cleaner… (previous guests hair in the showers, crumbs in one of the beds, the inside of the fridge needed a serious wipe down & the hot tub also could use a wipe down & replacement of the chlorine). For the price you just expect a little bit more freshness, but didn’t overall negatively affect our stay. Also there are cameras facing the back door & front which we were totally fine with 100% understandable with a rental property. However there was one camera directly above & head on facing the hot tub which made me & my girlfriends a little uncomfortable. Not sure that should be allowed. Overall it was a great stay however, host was lovely & house was pretty. Great birthday for the books! Xo"

"The place was clean and well appointed. Beautiful and comfortable furniture. The beds were great. There were 6 people in our group but only 5 bath towels. No hand towels or wash clothes. I didn’t see anything in the description that said to bring any towels, etc. Other than that everything was great!"

"The owner was very responsive when we asked questions before, during, and after the stay. The property was clean and had many of the little extras that made the stay comfortable. Things like dishwashing liquid and trash bags that other places I've stayed didnt have. I also appreciated that the owner had netflix amd wifi that we could use. Its in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes from walmart and other shops. It also isnt too far from Toronto if youd like to do some sight-seeing and shopping. Theres a shopping mall less than 5 mins away and a much larger mall about 15 mins away with restaurants and larger stores."
