"The pool, sauna and hot tub areas were closed and we weren’t made aware of this ahead of time, which for us was significant because my husband is disabled and could not get to the up the hill location of the alternate location for the sauna, pool and hot tub. Additionally, the alternative location was open until just 15:00. Which didn’t work for my daughter who works remotely. So the trip we planned didn’t end up being the trip we planned. We were offered a refund of sorts, but a simple “heads up” would have been much preferred and would have saved our family birthday trip for my husband. The room was loud in that you could hear neighbors, but the view from our balcony and the hotel food was excellent."

"We truly loved staying at Racers Retreat 5. The views were spectacular and the weather was cool and sunny in October. This property was perfect for our family of 6 adults. We made so many happy memories in Switzerland! We enjoyed the beautiful walk each day from our townhouse to the shops and train station. It was so scenic we never minded the walk, even after a full day of adventurous activities. Don't miss the paragliding, gorgeous canyon walk, roller coaster cars, and zip lines. So many fun things to do - each day was filled from morning till night. We hope to come back again to this gorgeous country!"

"We were wanting to explore the Jungfrau region and have a "jumping point" for many towns. We decided on Wengen for its charm, size, reviews & also needed a place to sleep 6 with a washer and modest kitchen. We chose this home due to all of that. It does state in the description it is far from the train station and that it is! You must or I'd highly recommend a taxi to and from the train station with your luggage. The views however are AMAZING adhering the cows with their bells was music to my ears. The hot water does run out quick -so we had to do 4/5 minute showers to get 6 people showered at night. My kids. LOVED it - as it was true Swiss charm, but if you need a place to easily get back to during the day and want to come and go this is not the place. We left in the am and returned after dinner. It's a GOOD 15 min walk (a lot of up hill) to and from the chalet. It's very quaint however and like I said the views can't be beat!"
