Great Views A Short Drive Outside Of Kona

"We had a great stay here on the back half of our vacation. Great views from the lanai, great shower pressure, and a nicely done cottage. The short drive was worth it to be outside and above the town where it was quieter and cooler. The frogs were intense but didn't keep us awake, almost like a white noise machine. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone exploring the Kona area."

Excellent, responsive hosts - well appointed home

"Host/managers were quick to respond and fix some minor issues that cropped up at the start of our 10 day stay. House is well-appointed and we made use of washer/dryer. I actually looked forward to hearing the frogs each night, and the roosters crowing in the morning. The covered deck was really nice since we had a lot of rain. Plenty of towels. Full size fridge. Large bed is very comfy and soft."

"Highly recommend staying here. We enjoyed being there so much we extended our stay 1 night and would’ve stayed our whole trip here if we could. Our toddler loved all of the animals especially their chickens and the cat. Such a beautiful spot! Hoping to be back sometime soon. "

"Where to start?! The pictures, which are nothing short of amazing, still do not do this home justice. Every nook and cranny has been considered, making every room a place you just want to cozy up in. With 8 adults and 3 children, there was plenty of space to never feel cramped. The host is as amazing as the property itself, prompt to respond and offer tips and recommendations. The pool is solar heated. You must request the hot tub to be heated each day of your stay in advance and that takes a few hours. It also auto shuts off after 4 hours. So, that takes some planning on your end to ensure it is ready when you would like it to be; but, it was doable. The home is stocked with nearly everything you need at the home and for the beach- so no need to overpack! I can't thank the owner enough for contributing to such a memorable family vacation. "

Perfect for large families

"This large house fit 7-9 of us quite comfortably, even with a few cars. We loved the night sounds of the crickets and frogs. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, and there was another kitchen downstairs to store even more food. I loved hanging out on the different porches to watch & listen to the rain. This secluded house is nestled on the hill with really great ocean views, yet is close to town and some really cool beaches. We all would love to have a family vacation at this property again. "
