"Great location in the heart of the old town. Walkable to all the tourist stuff and lots of great bars and restaurants. A traditional building sympathetically modernised. Great to feel you're staying somewhere authentic. We stayed in a junior apartment with one double room and a mezzanine double, with a living area and v small kitchenette - just enough for making your own breakfasts. Beds were a good size, mattresses could be better but were comfortable enough. Bathroom small but functional - although there was insufficient hot water in the evenings. Mornings were fine but water was luke warm in the evenings. Could do with blinds on both the roof windows as it gets light very early at this time of year - but that's a quibble. Staff were very helpful - especially when our Auschwitz tour time was moved from 7am to 4am! Might be worth booking your tour through the hotel. Three girlfriends sharing and we had a great time. It worked very well for us"

"Very convenient location in Old Town without being on the main road. Very spacious room and bathroom with mini fridge and nice sized wardrobe. Nice patio seating areas. Traditional buffet breakfast serve in the Black Duck restaurant which connects to the hotel. Lift available to the 200 and 300 level rooms, not the 400 level rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. 22 PLN can ride to the train station, but very close to the Trams for getting further out around the city."
