"I travel extensively and have stayed in many genuine deluxe and 5-star hotels around the world, so unfortunately this property did not meet what I would reasonably expect from a hotel advertised as 5-star. In reality, I would rate it closer to a 3-star experience.
The best part of the hotel was definitely the location, which was very convenient, and most staff were generally pleasant when spoken to. The room size was also decent.
However, there were several disappointing issues. Firstly, the hotel appeared to advertise breakfast included, but during booking this was suddenly not the case, which felt misleading. I also contacted the hotel over 24 hours before arrival regarding possible early check-in and allergy-friendly linen requests, yet I received absolutely no response — not even a short acknowledgment message.
The room itself lacked many standard 5-star touches: no bathrobes, very limited in-room amenities, minimal tea/coffee supplies, and even drinking water required guests to walk down the corridor to external water coolers. The carpets looked dirty and worn, and housekeeping standards were below expectations. One particularly concerning detail was finding a completed breakfast room-service card left behind from a previous guest, which raised questions about attention to cleaning and room checks.
Overall, the hotel has potential because of its location and some friendly staff members, but it simply does not currently deliver a true 5-star experience."
