"Only positive thing about our stay in this hotel was the service we got while they were serving breakfast. Breakfast menu only have like five options to choose from. Besides that hotel was not well maintain. Every time my wife and I were going to take a shower we have to call reception for them to turn hot water on. Staff are not friendly. Will not recommend this hotel to no one that wants to visit Cartagena. "

"Arrived to the hotel about 830 pm. Looked like it was close to other hotel restaurants. Wanting to walk and get dinner but was told by the hotel staff that it was unsafe to go outside. Asked for a cab and was told it was difficult to get one. Ending up leaving the hotel that evening. Staff working was rude to my spouse but apologies when we brought it up. "

"Do not stay here unless you want to step over half-dressed people on mattresses on the floor to get to a room to sleep on dirty bed sheets which are still warm from the people they just kicked out of your room and you are OK with having a previously used bath towel. The neighborhood is dangerous. If you choose to stay, be prepared to have to pay extra money otherwise they will not let you out of the padlocked compound. You have been warned!"

"This hotel is terrible. Photos are not accurate. Room very small. Location was terrible. No railing on stairs. No hot water. Terrible location with no restaurants in area. Non English speaking staff. Loud music every night until 10 PM."
