"Tru Hotel has a pleasant ambiance, great for kids of all ages & they provide fun games for all. The front entry has plenty of seating for conversation, personal workspace, or just to hang out. The comfortable furniture, great lighting & large windows, provide a laid-back atmosphere. The front desk has plenty of snacks, drinks, and even beer and wine, a nice surprise. A coffee bar with hot water for tea, is available all day long. The Gym is on the smaller side, but enough for a quick workout. Breakfast offers typical arrangements; suggest to upgrade their eggs/sausage selections. The room/bathroom is nice with a spacious layout and modern décor. There is a lack of storage (no dresser drawer) and no real closet to house your stuff. Only a shelf/table, instead of a closet, a desk to hold a few things, & a cushioned bench with a bottom shelf to hold luggage or shoes. The only real disappointment is the beds provided in our room felt very thin, no cushion, no support, with thin fitted/flat sheets, and a very, thin, waffle type of blanket. None of us slept well, we tossed and turned, trying to find a comfortable spot. We couldn’t sleep both nights and left our third night. Maybe we’re just used to a thicker bed mattress. If you’re staying for a weekend, you’ll survive. Overall, it’s a good little hotel, up-to-date, very kid friendly, pleasant, accommodating staff, extremely convenient to soccer fields (5min), & walking distance to Dutch Bro’s, Starbucks, Freddy’s & Bob’s "
