"This is a historic older home, right on the beach walkway access. We loved that you could walk straight out to the multi purpose walkway overlooking the beach. Beautiful. The home is historically antique so along with that comes older amenities but that is part of the character and charm! "The property was compact, quiet and clean with modern decor. The listing says that it is 1 bedroom and sleeps 4. We were 2 guests and it was a snug stay but I suspect that four guests could feel really cramped in this property. Not a complaint, just my opinion on what was advertised. "Nice little spot for visiting Cowichan Bay. Owner is still working on perfecting such items as access and parking. Currently a bit of a challenge for anyone with mobility issues or limited parking skills. It is the downstairs suite with private exterior entry- upstairs is occupied ( by the owner, we believe). She is lovely and we had no objection, but if you thought a VRBO was supposed to be “all yours”, that is apparently not completely accurate. Would recommend for a single/couple/couple with...
