"Very nice place. Well maintained with a lovely hot tub.
Good bar on site.
We had some issues checking in and can only assume that was down to Expedia (we did not get key code which caused some issues).
Would return."

"Really nice characterful cottage in a great location for hiking from the door with parking for two cars.
Easy access to Braithwaite and the facilities and walks from there , and also to Keswick town centre.
Would benefit from a more extensive ‘welcome pack’ and other basics you often get in cottages these days ( fresh milk , kitchen roll , oils and condiments etc ) but overall would definitely recommend the cottage ."

10/10 Excellent
This was an excellent place to stay, with historic ironworks in front, whitewater in behind, and a real steam-engine train passing by that looked like something out of a story book. There are two flights of 17 steps each, for a total of 34 steps to get to the flat, and then 14 more inside the cottage to get to the bedroom. The unit was immaculate when we arrived, and well-stocked with essentials, except we could not find bedding for the pull-out bed in the main living area. The grounds were...
