"Brathay Lodge makes for a very comfortable and convenient stay in the Lake District. The room was modern and well-maintained and the staff friendly and considerate. There is a parking fee (unless booked direct) but you’d have to pay elsewhere anyway. If you have an electric car it’s a good idea to let them know in advance so you can use their reasonably-priced ProjectEV charger. The continental breakfast was fresh and varied and set us up for the day. Would definitely stay there again. "

"Excellent b and b, right in the heart of Keswick with parking, within easy walking distance to all of the shops, pubs and restaurants. Kevin and Xueyan made us feel very welcome and looked after us during are stay. This is the second time that I have stayed at this b and b and I will definately be visiting again."

"The property had everything we needed, including a deck and BBQ. The resort had a shop, pool, bar and restaurant but we tended to walk and tour all day and eat at the house which had a fully equipped kitchen."
