"Staff were brilliant, so kind and helpful. Really went the extra mile. Close proximity to amenties, such as windermere. Food was impeccable, we thoroughly enjoyed. Room very quirky and clean. We were placed next to the log burner for dinner, which staff kindly accomodated. Overall 9/10 Only marked down due to only having full fat milk available for breakfast, which we aren't able to drink so missed out on our coffee. We have rebooked already for summer."

"Breakfast was great, staff were attentive and the place was very clean. Theres lots to do close by, plenty of trails and next towns are maybe 5-10 mins away if you fancied more. My mrs and I were really happy with everything and would certainly recommend it to anyone!"

"We had an amazing time. The hotel is lovely, every piece of decor & furniture is luxurious. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. We were booked in for B&B and breakfast was wonderful. When we arrived Liam checked us in & explained the town was experiencing power cuts & lifts weren’t working. As I have mobility issues they couldn’t give us our intended room instead we were given Room 2 Olive Mews and I can only describe it as heavenly, with it’s own spa. I booked a massage and it was great too. We are home now after being pampered & spoiled. I think we have found our new No.1 favourite hotel. Thank you"

"Our stay was fabulous. Its an amazing place with amazing staff and food. Beds and rooms we're immaculate. The only thing that stopped me from giving it a 5 star was the dogs barking late at night. Don't know of they were inside or out or both but it was on going for quite a while. Will be back though "
