"Clean, great staff"

"Quiet room (separate to pub) with comfortable beds. We dont like full, hot breakfasts so it was nice not to have to pay for it. The cereal/fruit /toast/ pastries were ideal for us. The food in the pub was nice, probably not worth the price but that's fine as a one-off. The pub was attractive and cosy. All staff were lovely and very helpful. Note - free toiletries are available at the bar, not in the room. The only things I didnt like were the stag head looming over our breakfast area and the picture of men 'enjoying' dog fighting in a stable. "

"My room was absolutely lovely. A very cosy single with a comfy bed, great radio and TV, tea and coffee facilities and a brilliant shower and bathroom. It was all fantastically clean and I was very impressed. Also all the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Finally, although I don't eat much at breakfast, the scrambled eggs and tomato was delicious. I wish I could have gone of the Welsh breakfast! "
