Excellent proximity to all sights with closeness to Paddington and Hyde Park. Great value! It is possible to add breakfast for 6 pounds a person, which was nice. Basic rooms, but lovely staff!

Perfect location for catching the HeathrowExpress!

To be honest, my room was larger than I expected. London hotels tend to be very small rooms. The bathroom and shower were good sized and clean. This hotel is just a couple blocks from Paddington station (and the Heathrow express) which makes it far cheaper than staying at the airport.

Staff were friendly, helpful & welcoming. Attic room was very compact but adequate for 1 night stay. Despite being advised that the lift only went to the 3rd floor, & we would have to access the room via a flight of stairs, were not made aware of exactly how steep, narrow & winding the staircase actually was. In addition, there was no handrail on which to hold on to, and both ascending & descending the stairs with luggage made us feel anxious & concerned for our safety. The breakfast was described as continental, there was plenty of choice & food was good quality and replenished regularly.

Quiet and good location

Recently modernised room, with aircon, though some people in our party had aircon that didn't work. Bathroom was compact, but served it's purpose well. Importantly the bed was comfy and the room was quiet. Basic breakfast (eggs [cook your own], fried eggs, bagels and pastries, as well as yogurt and cereal, jam and butter etc. Property does have a lift, though this takes you to an "in-between" level, meaning you then have to either walk up 14 odd steps or down 14 odd steps! Staff all pleasant. Good WiFi. Handy location (6 min walk) from Paddington or Lancaster Gate tube. Would certainly stay again.

Nice area

Nice cozy room at the top of the building, the hotel emailed us in advance to warn us it is a small room! NIce area and easy walk to Paddington station and Hyde Park. Clean and mostly comfortable room, but the window handles were falling off / had fallen off the frame and so it was not easy to close them. Also the pillows were really firm which did not suit us.

The Queensway has a perfect location. Breakfats is fine. But. It is really small (the bathroom!) and the cleaning person made disappear my earplugs. The hotel told a story about tourists that don’t know where they put their stuff but I am not that kind of tourist. I am very sad because they cost me money and the hotel offered me two breakfasts. So I will not recommend.

Heater did not work, toilet too small (cannot change clothes inside), shower did not work properly (less water with low water pressure). The breakfast had less choices and not value for money. The customer service of the receptionist in the night shift is very poor and impolite.

DO NOT STAY

The stay was terrible, there’s a lift in the hotel that only takes you to the 3rd floor. We were on the 4th. You had to climb another set of stairs that twisted around were you’ll nearly lose your balance. The room was the smallest room ever. The bathroom is that bad you can stand in it but you can’t even close the door because it’s that small. The shower was a struggle to even get into it was that bad. And the temperature on the shower didn’t work so it was boiling. There were bottle caps on the floor and dust everywhere so the room definitely wasn’t even cleaned before we entered it yet we weren’t allowed to check in early?! The only good thing was that the bed was relatively comfortable. Will never be back.
