You get what you pay for. Great location, room tired and basic.
Rose Court Hotel delivered exactly what we hoped for during our stay. The location is absolutely fantastic.
The team was incredibly accommodating and genuinely friendly throughout our visit. Special recognition goes to Shashi, who provided outstanding service with a warm, professional approach that made us feel truly welcomed!
We stayed for one night in the "lower ground" level. It was quiet and private, but access was difficult with bags. The Rose Court is functional, and bed layout was good, but is the hotel is in major need of remodel. If you need a budget location, it may work, but we won't stay again. Location was great and there is an excellent nearby restaurant for breakfast, La Masseria!

Tired hotel needing an upgrade but amazing location.
Night 1 we found a mice.
We changed rooms and found some bugs in the bathroom. Some humidity bug idk the name of.
The only reason why I'm giving it 2 stars out of 5 is because the staff on site was A+. So very helpful and understanding.
I still would not recommend. With what I know now, I would have choosen a hotel futher away from London Central for the same price but better quality.
All my complaints go to the owner. It's time to invest in your property. This whole place is unsanitary.
But again, thank you to the staff.
The outside of the hotel was attractive and the location was very convenient. The inside was very run-down however and my room in the basement was without heating and cold. Fortunately, the receptionists helped me and gave me an electric fire to use and repaired my TV which also did not work. Despite the nice staff, I will not return.

Room very outdated and dirty, the central heating was on high and could not be adjusted in the room, two windows open and 2 fans required to cool the room down which took several hours, in November. Reception staff were helpful with providing a fan. Toilet seat broken, wardrobe hanging on by a thread, too scared to use the shower. Only one power outlet, kettle provided but had to be used on the floor. Evidence of previous guests left on the floor and smeared on the radiator. Rat traps in the hallway and we left with flea bites.

Excellent location, especially for Hyde park and Oxford Street, Marble Arch station is about a 3 minute walk.
We’ve stayed in quite a few hotels lately and thus one featured a kettle plus coffee/tea. However it was the smallest room stayed in and very basic. Understandably the cost was great for London on a bank holiday weekend.
Polite and friendly staff on the phone and reception upon arrival and check out.
For the price, it was really good. Clean and felt safe. Early check in was available at the time and it worked with out schedule that we could leave our luggage before that.
Lovely friendly pleasant staff. Shame about the hotel, its very old and in desperate need of updating. The bed was quite comfortable so at least we slept well.
Great location with some lovely restaurants around the corner and few minutes walk to Oxford Street & Primark.
Nearest tube is Marble Arch, 5 mins walk.

This is an ancient & faded hotel; like something from the 1950’s. But it’s very convenient location for central London. My room was tired and tatty but had clean bedding and a clean bathroom. It was a very late booking at an excellent price and so it did the job it needed to do.
The lady at check in was very friendly and helpful.

Clean but very dated
For the money it was great but we only stayed one night it was clean ,the bed was comfy ,no plug for the sink and our friends room was the same but we improvised, ok for an overnight stay , the lift wasnt working but ,,,clean but dated
Avoid at all costs.
The building is old and the top floor feels likes its about to fall down. The ceiling in the bathroom leaked and water pooled on the floor. Ants in the WC. Carpets, doors and walls are all in very poor state. The reception person was asleep on the job (literally) and had barred the front door using a wet floor sign. The rooms are very dirty. Would never visit again.
Very old and poorly maintained property, though not in the worst way. English standard regarding heating, thin bad windows, etc. Lack of cleaning and generally stained and dirty, however, not the bed linen that was clean. However, very good location and that's what you pay for. You are only at the hotel to sleep!

The hotel is in need of major renovations. Lots of rotted and peeling wood. Beds have vinyl peeling etc…. Carpet worn.
We just needed a place to sleep, close to the underground. Linens were fresh, staff was friendly, bathroom was clean, plenty of hot water. Wi-Fi was functional etc…
It was fine for us. We only slept there.
The Rose Court is an old unique hotel. It has not been updated and is worn out. There is no other way to describe it- the facility has so many a red as needing improvement/ repair/updating. The bathroom was just deplorable. The staff are long time employees and are very nice. This hotel is now on my do not stay list.
Needs a major upgrade inside not cleaners fault they do good job however the rooms are well dated falling apart closed the door and light bulb fell out , plug sockets hanging out of walls no plugs for bath tv remote don’t work beds knackered , receptionist polite and so were the cleaners they just trying to do good out of a run down building until it’s been renovated I wouldn’t stay again

Does the job!
This served the purpose that was required, a bed for the night. We had a quad room. The hotel is old and dated and needs a coat of paint, but the linnen was fresh, the room was clean and after changing my expectations, it was all ok. It's not for a luxury weekend away but it is for a touring of London, being central and divvying up the costs :)
Was expecting hotel to be old fashioned but was in terrible condition, disgusting bathroom, more like a 1970s student bed sit - don’t really know where to begin - it was cheap though and if it had been clean, we would have had no complaints due to fantastic location. Room needed hovering, curtains laundering, electrical nightmare……list goes on

This hotel has serious issues but I LOVED it and I will tell you why. I would call it "shabby chic".
Things are a little stained here and there. I call that character.
The first room they gave me didn't have a bathtub, just a shower. And, there was only ONE unfitted sheet on the bed. I asked about it (because I saw a bathtub in the advertisement) and they gave me another room with a bathtub, but the shower didn't work (which was fine for me).
Then, I realized the door lock didn't work and I asked for that to be fixed and they gave me yet another room that was really an upgrade! Nicer by far than any other room I saw.
Customer service here is exceptional.
They may not always understand English but they are really kind heart people who clearly want to make people happy with their stay.
There is ONE outlet in the rooms and it is nowhere near the bed. If you are like me, and you like to work on your laptop from bed, this could be a problem (and it was for me). Bring an extension cord.
The walls are thin. I made a racket until my poor sleep deprived neighbor tapped on my door at midnight and asked me to keep it down. The next night, I heard some people debating which restaurant to go to like they were in the same room as me.
PRO TIP: If you want the elevator to work, you need to hold the doors closed. If you are afraid of small spaces, note that the elevator is the size of a shoe box.
I give this place a solid 5 stars because it was so f-ed up that it is actually awesome.
