Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Bristol. The hotel was within walking distance of everything we wanted to visit. The hotel was incredibly clean and it smelled great! The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. I was even able to sign into Netflix on the room's TV. The drinks were great; the cocktails were outstanding. Parking was great, very safe, secure and reasonably priced. We will definitely return. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Only downside is there's no spa facilities - a hot tub would have been nice. Also, my Mrs wanted a sweet treat quite late. I asked if we could have a dessert at 10pm and a nice lady said yes, she gave me a menu. 2 minutes later I returned to a different member of staff and he wouldn't let us order a dessert, he completely shut me down. Slightly disappointing. Apart from that, brilliant!"

"Our first visit but hopefully not our last. The staff we engaged with here were friendly, helpful and efficient. Our rooms and indeed the whole hotel was clean, however it could do with some updating and maintenance. Breakfast was delightful with a good variety of continental and cooked breakfast choices. The bar stocked a good variety of drinks. Great location with plenty to do around the area."

"Place is immaculate, so clean, staff was super friendly, only downside was the bed was small, I’m 6ft 2 and my feet kinda hung off the end, I think it’s just a double, but I’m used to a super King so probably felt even smaller to me. Enjoyable short stay, liked the feel of the hotel, simple and very clean. 😁"

"I was very impressed with price for great room and breakfast. Was central to all the walking we wanted to do. Following a Mystery Guide puzzle walk, then comedy magic at Smoke & Mirrors, then great food at the Himalayan, then 3 hours busy at SS Great Britain dockyard Hotel Bristil was perfect location for our stay. Would happily use again"
