Was suprised at the rooms they were new clean however I was solo and had a twin room (only option available to book) and the room size would be a tight squeeze for two people with luggage etc but I only needed somewhere to stay for the night as I was up and checked out early. "We always stay at the Future Inns when we come to Cardiff - we tried an alternative hotel once but won't do that again! Future Inns is always clean, tidy, quiet and excellent quality - we always book a Suite now because it's not much more money for twice the space - the sitting room area is just lovely to chill out in and just have that extra bit of room. The carpets are good quality, the bathroom is clean and the shower is powerful enough! All in all, it's the place we go back to everytime...

"When we got there we were told that the lift was out of order and our room was on the third floor. My brother walks with a stick and the receptionist (Liam) immediately sorted out a room on the first floor and took our bags up (even though I could have taken mine, bless him). The restaurant does a great Sunday lunch and in the evening sitting in the bar playing cards or yahtzee enjoying their snacks and looking out over the bay, was most enjoyable. It is beachside and less than a five-ten minute...

The public area did feel a bit like an extension of an airport lounge, not particularly comfortable or pleasant. There is no restaurant as such, you order at the bar and food delivered to the table.
