"All the staff I came across had a lovely helpful attitude. The room was basic, but that was what I paid for. Every where was clean. They have added double glazing inside the sash windows so although room was on the main high street it was super quiet - had a great night's sleep. Didn't have breakfast, but did have an evening meal which was OK nothing special."

"Amazing "biker bar" vibe throughout. The room was perfect for the 2 of us to spend the night. Food was well priced and the drinks were cold!"

"Lovely clean room with very tasteful decor. Really comfy mattress and nice to hear the sound of running water from the stream nearby. Great food in the restaurant downstairs. Only downside was that breakfast not provided and we had to walk into the local village"

"Lovely Hotel.Reception staff were very helpful. I had a superior double room well worth the extra cost. Had a lovely ploughmans and sticky toffee pudding for lunch in bar area,really enjoyable.Nice patio outside for evening drinks!!!Breakfast was excellent set in a beautiful dining room,service was excellent especially from sue who went out her way to make it enjoyable!This was my first visit to the Castle Hotel of Brecon and it won't be my last!!"
