"Very nice hotel and spa with an excellent riverside location. The grounds are very nice and the rooms have excellent views of the Duoro river. The rooms and bathrooms are good and the breakfast was very good. The reception, bar and restaurant staff were very helpful and worked hard. The restaurant was OK but not exceptional. Overall, an excellent hotel."

"Overall, we had a great experience. Room was a bit small but the bed - as with all Social Hub Hotels I have been to so far- was super comfortable. Girls at the reception were so helpful and really made an effort to make you feel at home. Big shou-out to Ana and Marta. We also LOVED the fabulous breakfast every morning! Hotel is right in the middle of everything with great access to sightseeing options, shopping and dining. "

I had a wonderful warm welcome when checking in, which was followed up by supreme service from the team in the restaurant and bar. The food and drinks there are delicious. "An older style property with much character but also modern amenities in the bedrooms. Very friendly, helpful staff throughout from reception to restaurant and bar as well as concierge and assistance with luggage. A lot to do and see around the hotel. It's a very hilly city so easy walking down to the river but a steep climb back up or use the funicular part way or taxi. Good food in the restaurant."
