"Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business. "We arrived a day early and had no problems getting a room. Loved the pool area - very relaxing. Loved the outside area - just beautiful, had some great walks. Very close to the steamers, which was a wonderful trip on the lake. The only problem we had was a very noisy room. Sounded like water was being turned off and on constantly, and then would end with a grinding noise, which made it difficult to sleep at night.
