I loved the option for the onsen and it was super hot and relaxing. People with tattoos can also use the facilities from 12 MA-4AM.. Super safe for solo travelers- the room key will only let you go on your floor and the onsen floor. I didn't try the breakfast, but it looked like it had nice options. They will also store your bag for the day while you explore...

"The hotel room was terribly dirty. It seems no one cleaned the room after the previous chek out. Fortunately the bathroom was nicely cleaned. There were here on the pilow. There was dust on the floor. Someone's ornaments was also there in the rooms. Overall the room was not clean at all."

"This hotel was in a noisy area, but it had the most comfortable bed I've slept in in a hotel. Just bring some earplugs and you'll be fine. It was also really clean inside the rooms and was very nice for the price I paid. I never saw any staff members, even when I tried to call them on the registration device for help. So being self-sufficient would be a good idea."

"We enjoyed our stay here very much. Our kids were very excited because the room was very large. I had a great night's sleep - I hope to stay longer next time. The bath was great, too. I used to live in this area, so it was really great to be back in the local area. It was also great to stay in a very authentic Japanese area, a much more interesting experience for my family than staying in a hotel. Also, there is a great beach area about 15 minutes away on foot. "

"The staff were very kind and looked after my luggage as I arrived in Wakayama early. The hotel is very close to Wakayamashi station and easy to find. It is also close to the castle and other tourist attractions. Breakfast was very good, and the hotel has rental bicycles which were only 100 Yen which was cheap and convenient. The hotel seems like it needs to be updated as it looks a bit old in places, however it was very clean. It was very good value."

"Excellent stay.. great helpful staff and convenient location. Super comfy rooms, nice amount of space window seating and great showers. Super safe for solo travelers- the room key will only let you go on your floor and the onsen floor. I didn't try the breakfast, but it looked like it had nice options. They will also store your bag for the day while you explore around. The room was so nice, I ended up booking another night stay. Bonus: I love this station that it connects too, places to eat, a fabulous library with starbucks, pharmacy and groceries a few steps away. "
