He was very prompt and helpful in all communications, from our initial inquiry through to check-in and check-out.The location is convenient—Kokubunji Station is only 15 minutes from Shinjuku, making it a good base for exploring Tokyo and beyond. "Would stay in this place again with a big group as it has 3 bedrooms and all amenities you could want. Only caution is the steps leading up and down as it has no handrails and is steep. It also has only 1 sink for all to use- if you don’t mind that, well worth staying here!"

Since bedrooms were on the top floor and bathroom/living room were on the middle floor, I was a bit worried about the narrow stairwell for my dad. "The property was great for 2 families. The stairs are quite steep so you’ll need to be careful when going up and down. We did noticed that the floors were not swept as there were dust and cobwebs (one spider!) along the stairway. Overall, we still appreciate the house layout and the proximity to the train station. 7-11 is a very short distance away which made it super convenient to grab last minute snacks. "
