"I was given a lower level room, which I didn't prefer, but at least there was a window so it was okay. Unfortunately, the linens didn't look like they were changed. There were makeup smears on one of the pillow cases and strands of hair under the duvet. Once I told the front desk though, they promptly changed the sheets and pillow cases and left a handwritten note of apology and two tokens for a free beverage. Room is good for just one person as there isn't a lot of space for luggage. The location is good but it's a 10 minute walk from trains."

"Bed was like sleeping on a trampoline. Way too hard. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Unrestful sleep equals poor stay unfortunately. "

"Clearly the location is terrific. The views of the Tower of London and of the Tower Bridge are exciting and the hotel maximizes them. The staff was helpful and courteous. Our frustration was on our first night when we could not rouse room service. We tried repeatedly for an hour. No one answered. Called 0. No one answered. We ended up going to Tesco to get food to heat in the oven in our suite. But the oven/stove did not work. We went to the front desk to ask for help. We were told someone would come up to our room. No one came. Tired from a day of travel, we ate a side salad and went to bed. We called again the next morning. Someone came up and fixed the problem. (It wasn’t that we couldn’t operated the light switches!)."

"Staff very attentive, absolutely amazing and helped us with information to get to our venue and back again. Room was tidy and clean. Two things to make it 5 star review. Change the type of pillow to light and the room was too hot air con not working. I only had a one night stay so would have mentioned it and I’m sure the staff would have taken care of it. First time in a ibis hotel and I would stay again."

"My experience at the Canary Ark Hotel was very disappointing and did not meet my expectations. The room was extremely small, and the bed was in poor condition it felt unstable, made a lot of noise with any movement, and sank in the middle, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. Overall cleanliness was below standard. The floors and surfaces were dirty, and the room had a strong smell of weed, which was both unexpected and unpleasant. I did not feel that the stay was worth the money, and I would not consider returning."
