Hotel was close to the Takanawa train station (JR line) and airport limo pickup and drop-off. I would stay at the hotel again. The area is very clean and not as busy as other districts in Toyko. "

"This was our second visit to Miyako City Takanawa Gateway and we loved it! The Takanawa Gateway station has changed so much since our last visit but the area still remains very quiet. The train station is easy to access and is very quiet compared to other stations nearby. And Shinagawa is a 10 minute walk so if you need to take the Shinkansen, it’s much easier to get to compared to going to Tokyo station which is so much busier. Make sure to take advantage of luggage transport services and if you plan on taking the Shinkansen, book early so you can get a good departure time, especially if you want a view of Mt Fuji. "
