"The property was in pleasant grounds, in an attractive village. There are a number of b and b rooms in the barn which is now an annex to the main house. The room had a high ceiling so was airy and spacious. The ensuite shower room was too. The bed could be a double or two singles so was large size and we found to be comfortable. "The property was ideally located, a short walk from Lime St station and right in the heart of the shopping district.. The apartment was well organised and excellent except for two small concerns. The shower is over a very deep bath and getting in and out required a lot of caution and agility as there was no handle to hold. Once in, the shower worked beautifully. The second item related to the appliances. They were so modern that we were challenged. Turning on the induction stove top was a new thing for us and the microwave had different suite of controls to any we had seen before. The instructions were on a website and in the case of the microwave less than helpful. Called reception who came up and turned them on but remembering what to do the next time was an issue. No doubt our fault but a written set of instructions tailored to the exact models could have made it easier. I would go there again if ever in Liverpool again."
