"I’m not one to ever leave reviews but was so disappointed, made sure to review this place. Paid extra for an “ocean view” room - well, you could technically see the ocean… but it was super far away and mostly blocked by another part of the hotel - total ripoff. Hotel is old and outdated, the room was tiny and not very clean. Asked valet to have the car ready at a specific time because we had dinner reservations. It wasn’t ready and we waited so long for the car that we almost missed our reservation at a fully booked restaurant. Called the front desk the night before to ask for a late checkout- as we had checked in super late and got back super late, and wanted to get a good nights rest without being rushed to leave in the morning. They said I’d have to call back at 8 am the next morning to ask for a late checkout…. What? On vacation and wanting to get plenty of sleep- but I’ll have to wake up early to request a late checkout?! What a joke. When I did wake up and called the front desk for a late checkout - they had no more available, so had to extremely rush to pack and get out. Would never stay here again. A massive waste of money. Extremely overpriced for the quality of amenities and service."

" Misleading “Adults Only” Designation — Avoid This stay was deeply disappointing from start to finish. Despite being marketed as an adults-only property, the hotel was full of children throughout our visit. The location compounds the problem: the hotel sits directly adjacent to a nightclub, with loud music pounding well past midnight. My courtyard-facing room made things worse — noise from the open courtyard filtered in early every morning, making uninterrupted sleep nearly impossible. The room itself fell short on every practical front. There is no dedicated workspace, making it unsuitable for anyone needing to get any work done. The TV signal was weak, and audio and video were consistently out of sync. Perhaps most telling of the hotel’s indifference to guests: there are no ice machines on property — you must call the front desk and then wait up to 45 minutes for delivery. I would not return and cannot recommend this property to anyone expecting the quiet, adult atmosphere they advertise.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​"

"As much as I wanted to love this hotel, it is a high-end hotel. We had a lot of issues when we arrived. I had placed a bid to upgrade our room to a one bedroom suit, and when we landed in Miami, I got a notification that our bid was approved and that we were gonna be upgraded , but when we checked in they had no idea about our bid being approved. There was a lot of back-and-forth between the manager and the front desk and they told us that they don’t have the one bedroom suites available, even though they had said we won the bid. Then I asked for a rollaway bed which I had by the way emailed them before our arrival and asked them to save a rollaway bed and they assured me that they would have roll away beds and not to worry, but when we got here there they had no rollaway beds Available. they gave us a room at the Tresor Tower when we got to the building. There was a long line to get on the elevator, which was strange. We had to wait 20 minutes to get on the elevator to go up to our rooms . Once we got to our room the first two days of stay we couldn’t get an elevator in that tower so we had to take the stairs from the ninth floor going up and down. Having had knee-surger, that was probably the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel.then they call me and tell me they have a rollaway bed available but when we got back to our room at midnight , no rollaway bed ! We had to share a bed and sofa!"

"We had an exceptional experience at 1 Hotel. The spa was excellent and the gym large with great equipment. Very short walk to the beach which was staffed by an attractive crew!! The restaurants on site and those within walking distance are amazing. We’re very happy with our five day trip!!"
