I loved this quiet country inn. The inn is offset from the road about a quarter mile on beautiful acreage, making it quiet and remote. The room was fairly large and need was luxuriously comfortable. The water pressure was great. The wifi dropped out a bit, but if you are looking for a relaxing getaway in the country this is a perfect place. It's a close drive to restaurants and businesses in Bristol, but too far to walk. I love quiet country doors so this was perfect.

This was truly an authentic overnight stay in a castle built in the early 1500's. The castle was amazing by itself, but our room, Henry VIII, was an experience by itself! It was exactly what we had hoped for and more than we expected. The bedding and towels were outstanding as was the comfort of the bed. The shower was also great plus there was a jacuzzi tub. We could not determine how to turn on the heated towel rack, and we had issues with turning on the fireplace (so did the gentleman...

The staff were amazing. Food and drinks top notch, beds comfortable, rooms well styled. Shower was hot! Yay!! Not too far off the Cotswolds way, I was able to walk there.

It was so nice to find a Marriott and all that implies. Great room, great on site restaurant, excellent (in room) breakfast. Only one night, but a welcome oasis.

Beautiful hotel, with fantastic gardens, exceptional rooms & service. We were lucky enough to have a large room on the third floor with gorgeous views of the gardens & hills in the distance.

The room was great with a view of the street and activity. Location is near train station and also close to center of Bristol so walking to restaurants and exploring was convenient as was the walk to the airport flyer after our stay.

Had a great three night stay after arriving from the US. The staff had many suggestions for restaurants and sites in the city.

The hotel is located outside the city of Bath. It's about a 30 minute walk to the city centre, so we took a local bus. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel which is very convenient. Gems assisted us at check-in and printed out the bus schedule for us!! She was very pleasant as well as all the other staff. We were having dinner at the hotel, and she walked us to the dining room. I should probably have said Classic rather than older in the title but you shouldn’t expect this to be a brand new hotel. Excellent breakfast, great staff and a real pub downstairs. The reception is comfortable, modern and has a nice little coffee bar. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brocks Guest House. The Managers, including Marta were very kind and explained the features of the area (attractions or places of interest) and told us if there was anything we needed to let them know-The Brocks House which is situated in an average neighborhood gives a traveler a "taste" of being a local for a period of time. Very lovely and quiet hotel within a comfortable walking distance to the tourist attractions, with free parking permit provided. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Really recommended for visitors with the car.
