"Rowen is a lovely place very convenient location to stay for days out such as Conwy and Betws-y-coed etc only negative points were the lack of a local convenience store and the local pub did not open until 4pm on the Wednesday although this is the process of tenancy change so could change pretty soon the idea was taking my mum for days out then going to the pub for teatime which meant having to find somewhere else to go for dinner for the first couple of days parking is sometimes a problem but...

"We loved Awelon really well furnished and everything you could need supplied The courtyard needs some TLC it could be so pretty The1 downside was the outside bin it was full to overflowing when we arrived and very smelly due to the warm temperatures I did email hoping that it could emptied but nothing was done My husband had to push the rubbish down to enable us to use it Kind regards Glenys"

"For the cost of the hotel I expected better service. There was one waiter serving from the bar and we sat on the lawned terrace for 25 minutes and no one came to serve us so I had to ask reception to send someone. The spa is very old and desperately in need of a full refurbishment. The food was fairly good but considering the cost wasn’t worth it as I've eaten better three course meals for less in many other top restaurants. It’s a shame as the setting is lovely with the hotel buildings,...

"The property was beautiful, in a great location. The surrounding area was amazing and we got so lucky with the weather. The Bay View & the Stag were great pubs and the chippy directly opposite was a god-send on arrival. The facilities at the property were more than sufficient, more than enough of everything. Couldn't recommend more."

"Great location and our room no 21 was very well appointed and comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious with a power shower and very clean. We had breakfast which was superb value for money and the service outstanding. This is a pub/hotel full of character. The staff here are friendly and accommodating. We will be back"
