"This place is a little slice of heaven. If you love nature and want to be removed from the world this is your place. Yet very close to all conveniences you would need. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. The creek is so beautiful and if you know what to do you can float down to town if you have an extra car with you to leave at the bottom. We are going back for sure!"

"The cabin was very cute. The sitting areas is small, not enough room for 5 people to sit in the living room or at the table. Cabin was beautiful as was the view of the creek. Nearest cabin could not be seen since there are trees in between. Creek was too swift to wade in and fish at this location. Cabin is close enough to creek to sleep with windows open and listen to the water rushing during the night."

"Comfy beds, extra large kitchen with everything a cook needs. Only thing you might want to bring is an extra large cutting board to clean the fish you catch! An abundance of large fluffy towels. Lots of seating. Exceptionally clean. They had cute food/water bowls and leashes for your pup. Things you may need to know- TN required SUPs to have life jackets “on board.” Kids 13 and over require a fishing license (only $10 for 13-16). And the water is COLD. Around 46°. Which was great bc I didn’t see any snakes (I’m sure they are there but I was happy to never see one) but really only good for cold plunges- not swimming. Dog needs to be well behaved. The ducks, geese, nutria… might be too much of a temptation for some. Mine thoroughly enjoyed paddleboarding to the bridge and back with me and while she really wanted to go after the nearby ducks- she is exceedingly obedient and I stayed dry. She’s old so I was worried about her ability to climb up the bank- but she did great. But dogs and people need to be able to haul themselves up a pretty steep bank. There are some step like indentions over by the owners’ kayaks- was easier to climb out over there for us. The locals enjoy and are kind to tourists (very different from our usual 30A stay). Even the neighbors were helpful! Precious little town with wonderful food and people. We loved our stay! Saw greylag geese along with the usual Canadian. Also a giant blue Heron. My son caught a 4lb trout!"
