"Staff was really friendly I had driven all night and got there a bit earlier but they found me a room and got me checked it was a clean room quiet couldn’t hear outside noise bed was comfortable and the room was spacious tv had all channels and the bathroom was clean although one t tile was slightly cracked but other than that my stay was great and really nice staff"

"It's not the Ritz Csrlton, but it's clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed, and inexpensive. It was a safe place for me and quiet. They had a little problem with my check out. They thought it was one day earlier but I went to the office and they assured me it's was their mistake. They were very good about it and apologized. Overall I only stayed there to sleep and enjoyed my time there 😊 😃 😀"

"The property had a gorgeous view of the river! The dock and smaller kayak dock were very convenient. We really enjoyed drinking our morning coffee and watching the sun come up."

"Beautiful sunsets from the balcony overlooking the harbor. Managers were prompt in responding to our requests. Check-in and check-out was easy. Hook@Harveys restaurant below was wonderful, reservations are needed. Optional golf cart was perfect for getting around Cape Charles. Third year staying and will be back next year."

"Beautiful home and amazing views! We had a wonderful trip and Cape Charles is charming! Loved the amenities of the pool/gym and the ease of getting around on golf carts. We will definitely be back!"
Red Roof Inn Newport News - Yorktown

"The staff were very helpful during my stay, particularly Ryan at the front desk. I'm hard of hearing in one ear, and he was very kind and respectful. Unlike most hotels, Red Roof Inn does not charge a crazy pet fee, and that added to the convenience of the trip. A cat showed up on my porch a couple weeks ago. I've been in the process of getting him healthy and was able to bring him along with me. There was a small deposit, and it was returned upon inspection of the room after the stay. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone traveling around the Newport News and Williamsburg area."
