"I really liked this hotel, but had some major issues with the manager who checked us in. Jay was a complete lefty lunatic who immediately trashed our President over and over again! They shouldn't have someone suffering from TDS working the customer facing front desk."

"We loved staying at this facility! The staff was fantastic, and we truly enjoyed all of our interactions with them. We experienced an issue with one of our rooms, but the team addressed it quickly and was very apologetic for the inconvenience. Their excellent customer service made a lasting impression. We will definitely be staying here again for our future trips to Busch Gardens and highly recommend it to others!"

"The room was clean, no bugs or bad smells. The biggest problem that I had was that the bathroom fan was very loud and annoying. The breakfast was fair, scrambled eggs, pork sausage links, French Toast, cereal, mini bagels, juices and coffee. The location is close to Target and Busch Gardens. For a cheap price this is a good hotel."

"I enjoyed my overall stay at The Tides Inn, but I wanted to share a few thoughts about the dining experience. Staying several nights made the limited dinner menu and lack of daily specials more noticeable. The dishes felt overly elaborate, and the prices seemed high for the experience. A more traditional and varied menu could better meet guests’ expectations and make the premium pricing feel more worthwhile. That said, don’t miss the hidden gem, the Fish Hawk Bar/Grill and be sure to ask for Joey. It’s a shame it closes so early, as it would be the perfect spot to enjoy an evening cocktail or two."
