"We were a group of 8 fairly experienced hikers from the Monument/Co Springs area wanting to knock out the 5 big peaks in this area. We absolutely loved this location as it was perfect launch spot for all of our hikes allowing us to get early start and make it back for a shower/bath and make dinner before heading out the next morning. The neighborhood was quiet, the firepit was great, and there's even a neighborly golden retriever that comes by to say hi anytime you're outside. We'll definitely stay again. "
