"The Malmaison is in an old prison, close to the train station and close to areas of interest in Oxford. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Our room was comfortable, but the lack of a refrigerator was disappointing. (The staff was happy to deliver a bucket of ice upon request.) We enjoyed breakfast at their restaurant. There were also excellent lunch and dinner options within an easy walk. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others."

"We loved the location - mega convenient for seeing everything in Oxford city centre, and so many brilliant food options. We started off on the top floor, but on a hot day in May it reached 25.5C and didn't cool back down which made it really hard to sleep. The 24/7 concierge service is great though, and moved us to the ground floor the next day which suited us much better. The shower was pretty decent and easy to use, but did fluctuate from hot to cold a bit. We really appreciated the free...

"Great check-in. Clear instructions. Friendly staff. Room was spacious and clean. The only issue was that the sink was blocked. Upon reporting, it was sorted out very quickly. I would love to have had the bar stay open lknger than the 11 PM"
