"A comfortable stay, aided by use of a fan in the room which was needed because no air con in room and windows have security latches so only opens minimally. Nice welcome and every staff member we spoke to was courteous and friendly. Benefit of parking in the car park for just £6 a day was definitely an added bonus. Minimal cleanliness issues, scuffed paintwork and slightly dated furniture. One thing that is definitely needed is clean windows..we had a seaview room which was great but the windows were so dirty, inside and out so the view was pointless tbh. So overall would stay again if in the area"

"Great room and overall location, perfect for if you are needing to be in the south of Exeter. Would always stay here when visiting Exeter for the rooms, the food and the overall hospitality. Prices are extremely reasonable for the area and going for a room on the lower floors with a sitting area is a nice touch."

"Excellent location, next to a lovely park by the beach. Our room was spotless and we even had a little seating area outside our room. Lovely and quiet at night. Parking was the trickiest bit in terms of getting luggage to/from the car park (a 7-8 minute walk) but we'd only gone for a night so we were able to do it all in one go."

"The hotel is in a quiet location yet you can reach the town centre by foot fairly quickly by walking through Victoria Park. My single room had a new bathroom and a view from the window. I was impressed by the spacious dining room where I had my breakfasts which were prepared especially for me. The TV in my room was newish and worked well."

"Perfect location. Very clean. Breakfast was one of the best I've had. Will definitely stay again. Hairdryer and straighteners in the room,also fan and shower gel in bathroom."

"Large clean room with sofa bed and a double bed. Small fridge and hairdryer. Large bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Shower floods bathroom everytime due to not having a door/screen to floor meaning you have to use 3 towels on floor to stop this, bad design in my opinion. Breakfast was your normal buffet restaurant, nit a lot of gluten free options avaliable, asked for some gluten free bread and was handed one small slice. Hotel close to beach, and town so great location. Not enough parking for such a large hotel we had to park miles down the road in a side road."
