"Very difficult to drive out of on a tiny narrow road, quite nerve racking as you can have a head on crash if your not careful! The cottage itself was nice but there was a lot of mould in the bathroom, spiders and spider webs in every corner, mould near the window in the master bedroom and the dryer didn’t work because half way through the cycle it came up with “call the technician error code” which was very disappointing as we had lots and lots of washing to do and couldn’t dry it. "Really lovely one night stay whilst we had a special meal in Padstow. We had a garden room which meant you had a sea view and small terrace - the downside was that in the morning we were underneath the breakfast room and it was quite noisy from just before 8am which on a Sunday was a bit annoying. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious, the windows and patio door were a bit drafty though as it was a stormy night. It could do with thick curtains to pull across but there were just wooden slats. The general corridors etc and dining areas were all really stylish and newly refurbished. We managed to get a space in the hotel car park but it is a bit limited when the hotel is busy. Overall though I was impressed with the standard of the hotel."
