Food was incredible, place was super clean, staff was very friendly. 10/10 (Oceanfront room, bathroom had a septic smell on check in, but we ran the shower a few minutes and continued to in the mornings and never had another issue!) "Overall a pretty bad experience. Our check-in was decent, but when we didn't want to go to the walk through where they sell there travel club package they called and text me multiple time around 8 am, waking us up multiple times, begging us to go. The pools were so dirty you couldnt see the bottom of the pool the first half of our stay. The a la carte restaurants were pretty gross. It took almost 30 mins for someone to come take drink/food orders, after that the food came pretty quick. Service in the buffet was incredibly slow, we couldnt get our own drinks, and the food was poor quality. The staff where mostly dismissive and rude, aside from a few quality/friendly bartenders, and the table staff in the patio side of the buffet were always very quick and friendly. Many of the wedding party we were here with had mold in there rooms and far worse experiences than us, and overall the communication from the hotel to guests was horrible. We wouldn't choose to come back again."

"I celebrated my 40th birthday and the host and staff were the most welcoming and professional. The chef made the most amazing meals and they were extremely accommodating to everyone's requests and needs. The house is beautiful and is right in the center of the Punta Mita development, i.e., a 5 - 10 minute golf cart ride to both St Regis and Four Seasons. The rooms were exquisite with the majority of them having ocean views and outdoor showers. You can also walk to the Kupuri Beach Club from the house which was a nice feature. The house is extremely safe and private, creating the feel of a private oasis with all the amenities one can imagine. I cannot wait to come back next year! "

"The hotel does not include extras you may expect like coffee and drinking water. It is difficult to swim at the beach because of the rocks and shallow entry. The owner owns most all of the hotels and restaurants along this strip so there isn’t much competition for prices. Better to walk a block up for better prices in the restaurants. They also own an apartment complex nearby and the residents are allowed access to the pool area at Hotel Meson, so it may see busier than you would expect with people doing daily business rather than just relaxing. One guy came every day and listened to the news loudly in the middle of the lounging area. Staff was nice and laying in the hammocks in the warm evenings was a highlight. "
