"Beautiful little house 10 minutes from Amarante, very well equipped (but without a filter coffee maker) with a nice view. However, it's very poorly located on a road that provides access to neighboring towns, which is very busy from early morning to evening. The bed in the second bedroom cracks at the slightest movement. The barking of dogs belonging to the immediate neighbors can be heard regularly, without their owners doing anything. Changes are needed to give this property its true value to the future guests."

"A lovely place. Has a nice café as part of the hotel that serves pastries and coffees and is also used by locals. The terrace has views over the river. We enjoyed relaxing by the small pool and it was located close to many restaurants. There is also a free public car park very close by."

"We had a lovely 2 weeks at this wonderful property. We were 11 travellers ranging from 19 to 83 years old. The house had everything we wanted and we all loved the facilities. Whether you just want to sit and admire the view, use the pool or have table tennis or pool competitions, this house was perfect for everyone! Miguel was a fantastic host and was very attentive and quick to reply to our questions. We were very appreciative of his quick response to an incident we had one morning with the issue being resolved swiftly. Miquel gave us many recommendations. We particularly enjoyed the sunset cruise on the River Douro organised by his brother. We would highly recommend this house for a wonderful holiday. We could easily have stayed for a month! "

"We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the historic sights and the walking trails. Also convenient to good dining options. The breakfast was really good as well. Nice, clean and affordable. There is no parking on-site but they have access to parking garage spaces in the same block for additional fee. "
