"This property was a nice safe place for family of 4. It was in a more residential neighborhood. A car is a must if you are going to stay here as it's a ways from beaches and night life. There is one bar/restaurant that is walkable and was great for breakfast and drinks. It does include washer and dryer but no laundry detergent and minimal toiletries/towels. Some touches such as laundry detergent, beach chairs that you could take to beaches, and some toiletries would make it 5 stars. "

"Check-in and check-out were super simple. Office staff communicates by text upon flight arrival and drops a pin for easy navigation. St John roads are an adventure all by themself, so the pin really helps.
We stayed in Guave and the view was stunning. From the spacious balcony you can see all of BVI as well Coral Bay and the east end of St. John.
The unit is very nicely decorated and in good shape. The spacious kitchen has a surprising number of appliances, gadgets and even some common spices and condiments which really nice.
The grounds are well kept as in the awesome infinity pool, though the property is a fairly steep hill and there are 54 steps between the upper units and the pool, and a few dozen more down to the rarely staffed office. The ladies are quick to respond to texts or calls though.
There is a market just down the (very steep) hill, but the 20 minute drive into Cruz bay is well worth it (better still, stop by their market before heading to the mountain top). Their markets are better stocked and about 30% cheaper.
If you want a peaceful retreat away from crowded family resort life and the best view on the island, Calichi is the place to be."

"We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful Vrbo rental in St. John! The home was perfect for our group—two couples, two 17-year-olds, and two 19-year-olds. The layout gave everyone plenty of space to spread out and relax, with comfortable bedrooms and plenty of spots to gather as a group.The pool was a huge highlight! It was the perfect place to cool off after a day at the beach, and the teens especially loved having their own space to hang out. Whether we were lounging poolside or enjoying dinner on the patio, the outdoor area made our trip extra special. The view is spectacular. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and felt like a home away from home. We had everything we needed, from beach chairs, floaties, and coolers. The location was ideal—peaceful and private, but still an easy drive to restaurants and the beaches.Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the process, offering great tips and ensuring everything ran smoothly.We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. This rental is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the best of St. John in comfort and style."
