An infrequent visitor to Blenheim Palace should factor in a couple of days in Woodstock, and the Buttery is a solid BB option, particularly if you are traveling without a car. Bus transport (S3) from Oxford is convenient, and the palace is a ten minute stroll away. Breakfast choices run from Full English to crumpets and tea. Staff is friendly, the upstairs room comfortable and everything worked including the free WiFi. Key access and security is well conceived, given no on-site management...

Clean, friendly and comfortable. Good breakfast included. Very affordable price. Wifi is a little slow, but so am I. Walking distance to adorable shops and the coolest music store ever! Come here for Cropredy.

We had a wonderful two night stay at the Black Boy. Both rooms were clean and had everything we needed; comfy beds, coffee/tea and friendly staff. We enjoyed a full English breakfast (not included in the room price) and a lovely dinner. The food was excellent. We were lucky to secure a parking spot right in front of the Inn; be aware that parking is limited. This was a perfect place to stay and explore Oxford; the neighborhood was quiet and away from the busy city. We enjoyed a walk after dinner...

Really comfortable bed and great room, well thought out too. Good powerful shower was a real surprise. Will be back...

The was clean, comfortable. Available parking. Helpful staff

It is close to bus stop which is going to city center directly. And very nice host, cute and clean room.

Our stay was nice, the front desk was very helpful and kind to us. There was also a bus stop right outside the guest house, very convenient location! Would recommend.

Great B&B in medieval market town. About 1&1/2 hours from Heathrow, Stonehenge, or Bath. Twenty minutes from Oxford.

The Osney Arms was once a pub that has been completely renovated into a modern B&B. The room was the largest room we had in any B&B on our trip with a king sized bed and spacious bathroom with all new fixtures. The rooms were very clean and neat. Breakfast was a buffet of toasts, cheese, fruit, cereals, yogurt, etc. served family style around a communal table. The staff was attentive and helpful. They kept our bags in a locked room the next day until we were ready to leave Oxford. In the...

Loved that my room was in the main house. My room was small but it faced the garden where I could watch birds and squirls. Missed the hedgehogs. My bathroom was a few steps away from the room and it was good. The shower was pretty small. I got in but could not move around so I decided to wash off in sinks. The staff were wonderful to me. The manager told me more about the Manor House and it's age. At one time my family lived there so it was exciting to be able to stay. Breakfast was...

Perfect place for us to stay that is centrally located to the University of Oxford and to the sites and activities. Oxford is a very walkable city. There is not a lift so this is not an accessible hotel as it is in a historic building above several stores. That being said the staff were so very kind and helpful and we had a wonderful stay!

Excellent breakfast. Superb service.
