Charming rooms, delicious breakfast, and a2 minute walk across a parking lot to the BPM. They even arranged off street parking for our car. I'll stay there the next time I go back.

The staff were great! The rooms were very good as well. The pool was relaxing. It was a nice, calm, comfortable stay with great views. The Dog & Gun pub has tasty meals for both dinner and breakfast. The sticky toffee pudding was fantastic.

Stay here every year super convenient. This year we were given the room on the top floor I wasn’t keen as it had no window just a sky light but it was very quiet and wasn’t a big deal.

Great place to stay

Margaret and Paula have created a beautiful, welcoming and warm home away from home. I felt so special. When I arrived and there was a freshly baked butterfly cake in my room and the second day a slice of fresh chocolate cake. The views and the property are stunning. I would describe it as a home way from home, but it’s better

Lovely stay in an even lovelier setting. Conveniently located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We arrived not knowing that this little village was used as the setting of the current “All Creatures Great and Small” television series but we can see why the producers selected the location. This is a wonderful boutique hotel. Clean, cozy and thw bed is so comfortable. Definitely will be back here on my next trip to Harrogate.

The owner/manager is lovely and was most accommodating which is why I always try and stay here when I visit Skipton. The room was lovely and the full English breakfast delicious! It’s like visiting family! The location is superb too - an easy walk to the town center and several restaurants. Highfield House will be on the top of my list for my next visit!

This is a delightful place. The staff is wonderful. The building is charming

It’s important to note that there is actually no One to help on property. It’s a secured entrance with keypad and a 24 hour phone service to help if needed. We did not find that to be an issue. The rooms were clean and roomy, and amenities in room were very nice (iron, refrigerator, hair dryer). Location to the city square was absolutely perfect! Literally a 3 minutes walk. We will return to this hotel and definitely stay longer! 2 thumbs up!!

Great spacious room, very comfy bed, powerful shower, wonderful breakfast, very helpful staff
