nice location for a short 1-3 days stay when travelling around Umbia. wery good condition, nice design, lovely staff. brand new wing has been lately reconstructed.

Castello Di Monterone is a small castle that has outfitted into an 11-12 room hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable with high quality bathrooms, windows, etc. There are lots of little alcoves, inside and out, to hole up in. Great view of Perugia from across the valley, and the city itself is only a few minutes away (although it's one of the more maze-like experiences to try to get into the city center.) Breakfast looks just like the pictures associated w/ the hotel. It's just an amazing sight. It's hard to choose your meal with this abundance of options. Additionally staff were helpful w/ bus tickets and information. "Old town" is quite a ways up the hill and worth every step. Pleasant gardens are also nearby.

good, quiet stay

So close to the main center of Perugia! The staff was friendly the breakfast was good, the closeness to the center of the city was irreplaceable, especially for the price! And we were extremely comfortable! such a great experience! We love Perigua and it would be hard to want to stay anywhere else! Also, try La Taverna if you go! Best restaurant we've tried in Italy so far! Thanks Claudio!!!

This is a lovely hotel close to the center of Perugia. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was immaculately clean. The view over the city and into the Umbrian countryside was lovely. We were very happy with everything the hotel had to offer.

Amazing place to stay! It is the little things that make this place one of a kind: like two suitcase stands in the room. The service felt like they were full time career professionals that felt like they really cared about the place and the hospitality. Dinner and breakfast was amazing! Clean, renovated, quiet, with easy parking! And only 7 minutes from Passignano s/t. Great beds, stunning view from the balcony, we were all impressed. Highly recommend!
