"This home was just as described. A few upgrades to the beds could be made as they are too noisy. Every time u move the bed squeaks. Apartment sits right on top of store, so you smell all the good aroma of the food being made. Wifi was great but host turned it off at 6AM on the morning of checkout. Wifi should be provided for the whole duration of people stay, because once they checkout they can’t take your wifi with them anyway. "I have been around the Lake Wally/Hawley + area for 40yrs (first owning a small summer place on the lake & as a local camp nurse for 20yrs), I always wanted to stay at Settlers--dined there many times--visited the gift shop, even looked into the rooms--finally got the chance--Wonder/Beautiful/Tranquil/Unique!!!"

"Really a fantastic place. Extremely friendly staff that goes out of their way to may your stay enjoyable. Loved the views and waking up to the sound of the cascading waterfall, the large common room with a fireplace and balconies over the stream. Highly recommended. "
