As people who actively seek the experience of places with history, vintage architecture, warm, eclectic design and setting, and easy walking to and from, the Hotel Chelsea was for us!
Appreciative of its iconic status attached to the journeys of so many iconic artists, we reveled in the ambiance and energy of the place, imagining the goings-on that must have transpired in whatever room or area we were in! As for our room, we loved the warmth and artistry of it (stained glass, the beautiful—and...

The staff at the front desk had little to any customer service skills sadly they were too busy talking amoungst themselves. The hotel had a pool and the path from the pool to anywhere in the lobby was completely wet.

The Peninsula is everything you'd expect from
a five star hotel, but more. The service was next level. My wife left something incredibly important to her health in the refrigerator. We realized it when we're at the Newark Airport. I contacted the hotel and the night manager actually drove to Newark airport with the package before our plane took off. Next level service doesn't say enough. Thank you Charlie!

I am truly obsessed with this hotel. I stay at a 1 hotel as often as I can. We stayed here last year and for some stupid reason I thought this year I would try somewhere else. I got to the other place and immediately anted to come back to 1. So we cancelled our res there and came to 1 Hotel. I will never stray again, it's so beautiful and clean and cozy and smells amazing and Jams is amazing and it's my favorite hotel on earth.

We had never stayed at the Mandarin Oriental and glad we did, very nicely decorated and the amenities were great (nice pool, fitness area, dining with fabulous views), parking on premises, close to everything. It was a little pricey, but hey, it's New York!

I think Stephanie, Alicia and Vanessa are outstanding!!
Very professional and attentive.
My one complaint is that some strange characters hang out near the entrance doors smoking, etc. Makes it feel unsafe at times.
Otherwise I love staying there.

Ive been to NYC plenty of times but have never stayed in the Midtown area due to thinking of all the congestion but this hotel was in the perfect location! It's 2 blocks from central park and then walking distance to most attractions. It is an Oasis after being out on the cold busy streets. I stayed in a Park Studio Double suite with 3 other adults, would have been 4 but due to weather the 4th didn't make it. The room was spacious enough in my opinion for 5-6 adults. It had a spectacular view...

Stayed here for a short stay. Was in town for a wedding. Had lots of fun. Would definitely recommend this over the Hilton in Woodcliff because the staff there is horrible, rude, and condescending. At Pearl River, they anticipate your needs and cater to you. Great Place to stay!!
