This is a spectacular boutique hotel! The views of the coastline and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms cannot be beat. This is 5-stars for the room views, the service, the updated exquisiteness of the décor, and the added amenities (pool, balconies, outdoor dining, access to oceanfront restaurants, etc. Don’t expect a Sheraton or Hilton type place….this isn’t that, and you shouldn’t be here looking for that here. We had an amazing view of the sea from which we dined at our balcony a couple of times. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner was great. They were able to book our tours and arrange transportation from the hotel to the airport/train station. We would highly recommend staying here.

There truly aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Giacomo and his place are. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel so welcome. He was waiting outside to greet us with hugs, and he had been checking in on us even before we arrived to make sure everything was okay while traveling to Sorrento. We stayed for 3 nights. This was our first visit to Sorrento. The hotel was beautiful with a great full breakfast. Room was spacious, staff was friendly & the housekeepers sweet. We had dinner twice in the rooftop dinning room overlooking the bay. The sunset was amazing. The waitstaff friendly , the food five star. We also danced to the music which made it very romantic. The path winding through the cliffs to the small bar and lounge chairs along the water is very unique. Very small wading pool on upper terrace. Classic double room was small and non-descript. Disappointed with the size of balcony and the sea view from room!

I can not begin to say how wonderful our stay was with Cristina and her husband. Weeks before we left for Italy, Cristina was in touch with us. She helped arrange transportation from Rome and return trip to Rome. She suggested and made dinner reservations for us and each restaurant was exceptional. Her breakfast each morning was wonderful. I really like the personalized service from Victorico the moment I arrived at Mermaids Dream Sorrento and Ernesto’s excellent hospitality I experienced even before arriving there. The Ara Maris which is referred to as the new hotel was one of my best stays at any hotel in all my travels, which is considerable. Very nice hotel. Great location, very clean, and the staff were helpful. The But…The only downside was the discotheque club located beneath the hotel. Opened at 11pm until 3am. The music bass was very noticeable. Have to imagine all low floor hotel rooms hear and feel this. The three of our phones sound apps were on high volume to try to washout music.

We were so impressed with our room and the staff. I do want to say that it is on the 3rd floor and they do not have an elevator. The staff will carry your bags up and down for you, but there are a lot of steps to go up (68). I would say if you can't do steps it would be a problem. We stayed 5 nights at the Palazzo Spasiano in May 2023. The hotel is in a great spot in Sorrento, close to everything. Complimentary snacks and coffee replenished every day. The room was fantastic and our favorite out of three hotels we stayed at around Italy. The best part was the service provided by Melania, the hostess. She really mad our stay in Sorrento. Very nice apartment with a fantastic view. Safe and walkable area with plenty of shopping and restaurants. Train/Bus station is a few minutes walk is all. Taxi stand right up the street in the town center. King bed was comfortable. One night of my 3 i had a very noisy neighbor and i could hear everything at all hours. The 2 nights later were very quiet. Kitchenette, hair dryer, and kettle provided as well as towels. Hostess was very nice and communicative. Use WhatsApp, very easy communications....

Great location less than a block from the main plaza. Our room was right next to the elevator and we never heard a sound. Only a few blocks to the train station and bus stops. Many great restaurants nearby. Best breakfast buffet in our whole 26 days in Italy. Left a jacket and they had it sent to our next hotel on Capri for a minimal charge.

I absolutely love this hotel. Have stayed there several times and wouldn’t think about staying anywhere else. The location is so convenient to the square and right in the middle of al the activity. The rooms are beautiful and breakfast is always delicious. Mario does a wonderful job making sure everyone has anything they want for breakfast.

Our first trip to Sorrento, and we couldn't have a picked a more perfect hotel. The hotel, more like a private guesthouse is centrally situated on the piazza with short, colorful walks to everything, including the train/bus station.
