We loved our stay in south haven, i actually thought it was better than Traverse city! Easy city to walk, lots of good food options (we are vegan and had many options), and beautiful beach area.

When packing your suitcase, take out half. Then take out half again. South Haven is very casual and we averaged four miles a day just walking around enjoying the area.

South Haven is so fun to shop in, but like everything else in the world, prices are getting really high. I took my daughter out for ice cream and it was THIRTY dollars!!
"The host was very nice. She let us check in early and check out late. There was no mention of all bedrooms and only bathroom being located on 2nd floor. My son is disabled and my mother is elderly. Getting up and down the stairs was hard and my son couldnt do it more than a few times a day. We would have never stayed having stairs. They were narrow and taller stairs than the average. The home was filthy from kitchen, living room, bedrooms, and bathroom. Tons of cobb webs and bugs everywhere. The dishes were dirty along with the fridge. Stayed pet friendly yet there was glass all over the driveway into back yard. Plus, tons of cigarette butts everywhere. No statement about the drop off cliff in the backyard. Its dangerous. We spent the 1st day cleaning and spent most of our time outside of the home."
