There are many places to eat in Staines as well as the hotel. It's about a 30 minute stroll to the station, part of which we walked along the river- bank. The journey to Windsor was about 15 minutes on very clean trains.

We had a great pub across the street call the Swan pub and hotel very nice a long the Thames river.

The two issues I had was the elevator maintenance made it long to get up to room with only one lift, and the toilet placement was terrible. It was placed narrowly between the sink and the wall with a toilet paper mount on the wall jabbing you when you sat down. "
