"Property was larger than expected. It was clean and well furnished and provided a lovely break. Its in a very remote location, which is what we were looking for. Very dog friendly. some noise from the property upstairs but wasn't too intrusive."

"Comfortable, spacious cottage. Excellent dining room facilities and a cosy lounge. Fantastic hot tub for 4 (not 8 as listed) and a huge bonus that it is covered, allowing you to sill use it in the rain. A less than 5 minute walk to the pub, however it is along a very busy main road without a path and only safe in daylight. With a more comfortable mattress in the main bedroom and either a hot tub top up visit (or access to a hose to do it yourself) this would have earned a 5 star review from us."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fell View. It sits high on a hillside and has an incredible view looking over the mountains to the south in the Lake District. You can sit on the front porch and just enjoy the vista! There is also a nice backyard which we didn't get to use. A friend in Manchester had suggested that we had done better if we had booked in Keswick or similar, but we ended up loving being in Penrith. "We had a fantastic time at the barn, the owners Suzy and Jim are genuinely nice people, The barn is great, they left us a great welcoming hamper. My sons highlight for the whole trip was helping Suzy and Jim feeding there sheep, the hill behind the barn was a great place to watch the night sky "
