"Basic room but was clean. Asked for a cot for our child beforearrival. Due to circumstances we arrived late and the cot wasn't put up ready and had no bedding, so my child slept in the bed with us. Spoke to reception next morning and was only told that 'we do provide bedding '. Well not on this occasion. "

"One of the messages from the property didn't come through, the one that gave decent directions. Several places en route looked like they were the property. It took a while, but we eventually found it. Apparently there's a kitchen on site, but we only found one in the hostel across the street? Had a hard time finding the switch to turn on the hot water, I tried messaging the property, but it was late and I never got a response. The switch was pretty big by the showers, I probably missed it since...

"We had a very nice stay. The lodge is very nice and clean. The only issue we had was with the water pressure in the shower. There basically was none and it made it very difficult to wash and rinse. The temperature was also hard to control with the water either being very cold, or very very hot. Otherwise, it was a nice place. "

It was welcome to see that all the small details were looked after, enabling the room to be very well presented. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and had we known how beautiful, clean, comfortable and quiet, we would have booked it for longer. The owners were so personable and kind, we felt so welcomed and “at home”! We had dinner and breakfast the next morning and the food was spectacular, on all accounts!
